Honoring Our Sacred Water Water Ceremony

Hosted by Detroit Light Brigade

All are welcome to hang out with the Detroit Light Brigade and Waterkeepers at Poplar Point near where the Anacostia River meets the Potomac River from 6-10pm for our final water ceremony where many different Medicine Women will be leading a water ceremony the night before the People’s Climate March. It will be a powerful spiritual ceremony honoring and giving gratitute to the river and all waters, with Spring of Light to heal the rivers. Come and learn the history and challenges our rivers face from our Riverkeepers who protect them.
